Morning stage. Kenny Wallace told a friend and I to come on up during a
commercial break. We got the crowd going. The cowboy hat is now full of
autographs. The other pics are with my friends. I think all of us
together, would make a good page on a calendar. We are true NASCAR fans!

My name is Rachael Burrows. I am 26 years old
and a sixth grade teacher. I am from Alto, Texas, a very small town in East Texas. I love NASCAR! I've been a fan now for almost five years. I have a group of friends that I watch the races with. If we aren't together watching the races, we are on the phone analyzing them each Sunday. My favorite driver is Dale Earnhardt, Jr. I really like all drivers. There are a couple that I can do without however. Since I've been watching the sport, I've learned so much about it. I once was one of those that said "gee, that is so stupid, driving around in circles....", but trust me, I've discovered that there is so much strategy at play during a race. When I try to explain it to people, I start off by telling them that it like 43 football teams competing against each other in the same game. I thoroughly enjoy going to races. Currently, the only ones I attend are at Texas Motor Speedway. However, my friends and I are going to be at the Daytona 500 on Feb. 19. Cn't wait!! Hanging out at a race track, going through the pits, garages, cramming yourself into the sea of people at the souvenir haulers, watching Trackside Live, camping, having a cold one, those are all part of the Nascar Weekend. There is a sense of family with NASCAR. I can't imagine not being a fan! I'm sending several pics, all taken at Texas Motor Speedway. My favorite is the one of |
